beginnings.

I didn’t plan to fall in love with photography…it found me.

My journey began in the beauty industry. During my junior and senior years of high school, I attended cosmetology school and became a fully licensed cosmetologist in 2019. After graduation, I moved to New York City to attend Makeup Designery NYC, completing the master’s program with 812 credited hours and earning certifications in Natural Corrective, Full Glam, Bridal, Special Effects, and Stage & Screen makeup.

I worked closely with photographers to build my makeup portfolio but something shifted. While I loved creating with makeup, I found myself drawn to the person behind the camera. I had my own thoughts and options about posing and sets. So I picked up a camera of my own.

What started as photographing friends and family quickly grew into a deep, undeniable passion. I realized photography wasn’t just something I enjoyed, it was something I felt.

Then I became a mom.

When my beautiful daughter, Daisy Mae, was born, everything changed. Motherhood gave my work new meaning. I began to see time differently. How fast it moves, how fleeting the stages are, how desperately we wish we could bottle up certain moments forever. Photography became more than a business. It became a way to preserve the feeling of a season before it slips away.

As a mother, I understand the chaos, the tenderness, the exhaustion, and the overwhelming love that fills a life. That understanding shapes every session I photograph. I’m patient. I’m present. I know that sometimes the best images come from the unplanned moments.

For the past five years, I’ve grown this business while raising my daughter and it has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Photography has allowed me to support my family while being present for them, and that balance is something I don’t take for granted.
